Terms of use

These terms cover your use of hoodlums.wtf. By using the site or launching a token with it, you agree to them. How the site handles your data is covered in the privacy policy.

What hoodlums.wtf is

hoodlums.wtf is an independent website for launching tokens on Robinhood Chain through the Pons V2 launch factory, a set of smart contracts operated by Pons. The site prepares each transaction and your wallet sends it; the Pons contracts create the token. We don't run Robinhood Chain or the Pons contracts, and we aren't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Robinhood Markets, Inc. or Pons.

Your wallet and keys

  • You connect your own wallet or use a launch wallet, and every transaction is signed on your device. We never receive or store your seed phrase or private keys, and we can't move the funds in your wallet. The one exception is money you send to the volume bot, described below.
  • A launch wallet's private key is stored, encrypted, only in your browser, and it signs launches without asking each time. Back up its key: if your browser data is cleared or your device is lost, we can't recover it. Anyone who gets the key, including through malware or a compromised browser, can take the wallet's funds, so keep only what your launches need in it.
  • The Hoodlums Vamp extension keeps its own encrypted copy of your launch wallets in your browser. It vamps from your selected launch wallet, which is the same on hoodlums.wtf and in the extension: choosing a wallet in either one selects it in both. It signs a vamp as soon as you confirm it, from the review panel or with a second click if you switched to click twice, without asking again. Anyone who gets control of your browser or the extension's data could use those wallets, so keep only what your vamps need in them.
  • Transactions on Robinhood Chain are final. Once a fee payment or launch confirms, nobody can reverse it, including us.
  • You're responsible for your wallet's security and for checking each transaction before you approve it.

Fees

  • Each launch, including a vamp from the Hoodlums Vamp extension, costs a 0.0005 ETH hoodlums fee, sent from your wallet as its own transaction before the launch.
  • Pons sets its own launch fee, which the launcher reads from the chain and includes in the total it shows before you sign. Robinhood Chain gas fees apply to both transactions.
  • If your hoodlums fee confirms but the launch doesn't go through, you can try again from the same page without paying the hoodlums fee a second time, as long as you don't reload or leave the page.
  • Each volume bot run costs a 0.005 ETH fee, on top of its budget. See The volume bot below.
  • If you opened a hoodlums.wtf referral link in the 30 days before, 20% of the hoodlums fee or volume bot fee goes to that referrer's wallet, in its own transaction, instead of to us. You pay the same total.

Referral program

  • Referrers earn 20% of the hoodlums fee and volume bot fee paid by people who opened their link in the 30 days before. A referral is kept in the browser that opened the link, so a launch from another browser or device, or after that browser's site data is cleared, isn't referred. We don't guarantee that any launch or run is credited to you.
  • Shares are paid on-chain to the referral wallet your browser created when you signed up. Only your browser has its key, so back it up: if the key is lost, the shares sent to that wallet are lost too, and we can't move your handle to another wallet.
  • Don't pick a handle that pretends to be another person, project or company, or promote your link with spam or misleading claims. We may remove handles that break these terms, and we may change the share or end the program at any time. Shares already paid stay yours.

The volume bot

  • You send a run's budget and its 0.005 ETH fee in one transaction to a deposit wallet made for that run. The fee is ours once the run starts. If the run never starts, for example because the full deposit doesn't arrive within 30 minutes or the token can no longer be traded, the bot sends back what arrived, fee included.
  • While a run is open, the budget is held in wallets our server creates and controls, and the bot trades it without asking you again. You can stop a run early from the browser you started it in.
  • Trading costs money and carries risk. The wallets buy first and hold what they bought until outside buys pick up or the run reaches its sell time, so what comes back depends on the price when they sell. Pons trade fees, creator tax, gas and swap costs are spent too. The estimate shown before you start is a guide, not a promise: we don't guarantee any volume, price, number of makers or amount returned.
  • The wallets sell what they hold one at a time, and when they're done the bot sends their ETH to the launch wallet the run was started from. Tokens it can no longer sell on the curve, for example after the token graduates, are sent to that wallet instead.
  • You're responsible for how you use the bot, including following the laws and platform rules that apply to trading activity around your token.

Your token and what you put in it

  • You choose your token's name, ticker, logo, description and links, and you're responsible for them. Only use names, logos and links you have the right to use.
  • Don't launch a token that pretends to be another person, project or company, or that's meant to mislead buyers. When you vamp a token, change anything that would pass your copy off as the original.
  • Token details are written to Robinhood Chain and logos are published to IPFS. Both are public, and we can't edit or remove them after launch.

Risks

  • Launch tokens are highly speculative and can lose all their value. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice.
  • Smart contracts, blockchains, wallets and RPC services can fail, be exploited or change. Pons can change settings such as its launch fee and maximum creator tax at any time.
  • You're responsible for following the laws that apply to you, including rules on creating, promoting and trading tokens.

No warranty

hoodlums.wtf is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss that comes from using the site, including lost funds, failed or mistaken transactions, token prices, or problems with Robinhood Chain, Pons, IPFS or your wallet.

Changes to these terms

We may change the site or these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
