How to launch a token on Arc with o1

o1 Launchpad (launch.o1.exchange) launches tokens on Arc, Circle's Layer 1 blockchain. One transaction creates your token and puts its whole supply in a permanent pool against USDC. There are no custom taxes: every trade pays a 1% fee, and half of it goes to you. This guide shows how to launch a token on Arc with o1, step by step, using the hoodlums.wtf launcher.

What you need

  • A launch wallet, created or imported in your browser. There's no other wallet to connect.
  • USDC on Arc in that wallet: enough for the 1 USDC hoodlums fee, o1's launch fee and gas, plus any dev buy.
  • A logo, a name and a ticker for your token, and any links you want on its profile.

Fund your launch wallet

A launch wallet works on Arc from the moment you create it, so there's no network to add. Arc pays gas in USDC, so USDC is all the wallet needs. Native USDC on Arc has 18 decimals, and the USDC token contract shows the same balance with 6 decimals, so it's one balance for gas, both fees and your dev buy.

Copy the wallet's address from the launch wallets page and send USDC on Arc to it from any wallet or account that holds some. USDC on another network has to be moved to Arc first. If the wallet you're sending from doesn't list Arc yet, add it with these details from Arc's documentation:

Network nameArc
Chain ID5042
RPC URLhttps://rpc.mainnet.arc.io
CurrencyUSDC
Block explorerhttps://explorer.arc.io

Launching from a fresh dev wallet

Traders can see how many tokens a wallet has launched, and some pass on wallets they recognise. To start clean, create another launch wallet, send it enough USDC on Arc, select it and launch. You keep its private key. Your half of the trading fee goes to the wallet you launch from, so keep that key safe.

How an o1 launch works

The o1 launchpad keeps launches simple. A launch creates a standard ERC-20 token with a fixed supply of 1 billion. The token has no owner and can't be minted or paused. In the same transaction, o1 puts the whole supply into a permanent Uniswap v4 liquidity position against USDC, and the pool opens at a market cap of about 4,000 USDC. There's no bonding curve and nothing to migrate later.

Before launching, hoodlums.wtf does two things for you. It pins your logo and a profile document with the name, ticker, description, image and links to IPFS, in the same format o1's own app uses. Then it finds a token address ending in 01, which every o1 token has.

o1 takes a launch fee (2 USDC as of September 2026), paid inside the launch transaction. The launcher reads the current fee from o1's contract and includes it in the total it shows before you launch.

Launch your token, step by step

  1. Create a launch wallet

On the launch wallets page, create a wallet and save its private key somewhere safe, or import a key you already have. It signs your launches right in your browser, with no wallet pop-ups.

  2. Fund it with USDC on Arc

Send USDC on Arc to the wallet's address: enough for the 1 USDC hoodlums fee, o1's launch fee (2 USDC as of September 2026) and gas, plus any dev buy. Arc pays gas in USDC, so the wallet needs nothing else.

  3. Open the o1 launcher

Open the launcher, choose Arc, then pick o1 under Launchpad.

  4. Add a logo, name and ticker

Upload a PNG, JPG or WebP logo up to 2 MB. Names can be up to 50 characters. Tickers can be up to 11 characters with no spaces, and keep the casing you type. A description of up to 2,000 bytes is optional.

  5. Add your links

Add a website as a full https link, an X link on x.com and a Telegram link on t.me. All three are optional, and they're checked the way o1's own form checks them.

  6. Decide on profile editing

Leave profile editing off to fix your token's name, ticker and profile for good, or switch it on to keep the right to edit them on o1 later. It never allows minting, pausing or touching liquidity.

  7. Add a dev buy if you want one

Enter an amount of USDC to buy your own token in the launch transaction. It's paid together with o1's launch fee and protected by a minimum-received check. Leave it at 0 to launch without one.

  8. Review the total and launch

Check the launch preview: the 1% trading fee, o1's launch fee, the 1 USDC hoodlums fee and the total with gas. Press Launch on o1, and your launch wallet sends the hoodlums fee, then the launch, with no pop-ups.

  9. Share your token

When the launch confirms, copy your token's address to share it, view the transaction on Arc's explorer, or open the token on Axiom or on o1.

Launch settings explained

The 1% trading fee

o1 tokens have no custom taxes. Instead, every trade pays a 1% fee in USDC, split three ways: 0.5% to the creator's wallet, 0.3% to o1 and 0.2% to the trader's referrer, or to o1 if there's no referrer. Your half builds up for the wallet you launched from, and you claim it on o1.

Profile editing

Off by default. With it off, your token's name, ticker and profile are fixed for good. Switch on Let me edit the name, ticker and profile on o1 later if you want to keep that option. The permission only covers the profile: it never lets anyone mint, pause or touch liquidity.

Links

The launcher checks links the way o1's form does: the website must be a full https link, the X link must be on x.com and the Telegram link must be on t.me. Links in any other format are flagged before you launch.

Dev buy

An optional buy of your own token in USDC, paid together with o1's launch fee in the launch transaction, so no separate approval is needed. It's protected by a minimum-received check, so it can't fill far below the amount the launcher's simulation quoted. New Arc launches on o1 have no anti-snipe surcharge, so a dev buy is the way to hold your token from its first block.

o1 or Argus: which Arc launchpad?

Arc has two launchpads in hoodlums.wtf, and both pair your token with USDC in a permanent Uniswap v4 pool. The difference is how they earn and how you do.

If you want to set your own taxes and send part of them to holders, buybacks or liquidity, read how to launch a token on Arc with Argus.

What happens after you launch

Your token trades in its USDC pool as soon as the launch confirms. The success screen lets you copy its address, view the launch transaction on Arc's explorer, and open the token on Axiom or on its o1 page. Your share of the trading fee is claimed on launch.o1.exchange.

What it costs

hoodlums fee1 USDC, sent as its own transaction before the launch
o1 launch fee2 USDC as of September 2026, read live and paid in the launch transaction
GasPaid in USDC, and included in the total the launcher shows
Dev buyOptional, in USDC

Before anything is sent, the launcher checks your wallet can pay for everything, gas included, and shows the total next to your balance. The total counts the most gas can cost, and gas the launch doesn't use stays in your wallet. The launch is simulated before the hoodlums fee is paid, so a launch that would fail never takes it. If you opened someone's referral link, 20% of the hoodlums fee goes to them in a separate transaction.

Questions about launching on o1

What is the o1 launchpad?

o1 Launchpad, at launch.o1.exchange, is a token launchpad on Arc. Each launch creates a standard ERC-20 token with a fixed supply of 1 billion and no owner, minting or pausing, and puts the whole supply in a permanent Uniswap v4 liquidity position against USDC, all in one transaction.

How do I earn from a token I launch on o1?

Every trade pays a 1% fee in USDC. 0.5% goes to the wallet you launched from, which you claim on o1. 0.3% goes to o1, and 0.2% to the trader's referrer, or to o1 when there isn't one.

Can I set a buy or sell tax on o1?

No. o1 has no custom taxes, and every token pays the same 1% trading fee. If you want to choose your own buy and sell tax and where it goes, launch on Arc with Argus instead.

What does it cost to launch a token on Arc with o1?

The 1 USDC hoodlums fee, o1's launch fee (2 USDC as of September 2026) and gas, all paid in USDC, plus any dev buy. The launcher reads o1's current fee from its contract and shows the total before you launch.

Why does my token's address end in 01?

Every o1 token address ends in 01. The launcher finds a matching address for your token before it launches, so there's nothing for you to do.

Does o1 have anti-snipe protection?

New Arc launches on o1 have no anti-snipe surcharge. If you want to hold your token from its first block, add a dev buy: it's made in the launch transaction itself.

Can I change my token's name or logo later?

Only if you switch on profile editing before launching. It's off by default, which fixes the name, ticker and profile for good. With it on, you can edit them on o1 later, but it never allows minting, pausing or touching liquidity.

Do I need ETH to launch on o1?

No. Arc pays gas in USDC, so your launch wallet only needs USDC on Arc. Native USDC on Arc has 18 decimals and the USDC token contract shows the same balance with 6, so it's one balance for gas, fees and your dev buy.

Is hoodlums.wtf affiliated with o1 or Circle?

No. hoodlums.wtf is an independent interface for launching tokens through o1 Launchpad on Arc. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by o1 or Circle.

Copy an existing token instead

If you'd rather start from an o1 token that already exists, paste its address into the vamp bar at the top of the o1 launcher. It copies the token's logo, name, ticker, description and links into the form, and you review everything before launching. If the token launched on Argus instead, the launcher opens the Argus launcher for you.
